PROVERB PRACTICALS

Proverbs 4:24,  Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.

Two words of the father that he desires he never see lived in his son.

Froward and perverse. Go to and not fro.

To is going towards and fro is going away from.

Froward and perverseness is a reluctance to yield or comply.

A froward person is a person who knows what is right and is turning away from what is right.

At the first it appears that the froward person is going in the right direction but it is soon revealed that it is just a front and the ultimate direction is away from right.

He is going backwards from truth while he appears to be going forward.

The froward mouth is the same, it issues forth what appears to be truth but from a heart that is full of lies.
